Engine and suspension
Equipped with a 2.0L naturally aspirated petrol engine, Levorg will produce a power output of 149.5 PS at 6,200 rpm and up to 198 Nm of torque at 4,200 rpm. Combined with Subaru's Lineartronic CVT transmission and Symmetrical All Wheel Drive as standard, this family Tourer also benefits from a fine tuned suspension and responsive handling to deliver improved ride comfort and driving dynamics.
The front face has been revamped with a more refined front bumper, a sharper front grille and refreshed headlight and fog light designs. In line with moving from a 1.6L DIT to a 2.0L NA engine, the air intake has been removed from the bonnet.
LED and steering responsive headlights
The headlights have been upgraded to bi-functional projector LED lights, which use a single bulb to enable drivers to switch between low beam and high beam LED. The indicators have been re positioned from the fog light housing and have been incorporated within the headlights.
Steering Responsive Headlights have been introduced to improve safety and increase visibility at night. The headlight beam moves sideways to match steering input and illuminate corners when turning. This functionality can be used in high and low beam as the LED headlights are now a single unit.
LED fog lights and alloy wheels
LED have been adopted for the fog lights to improve visibility and reduce power consumption. The fog light bezels have a new sharper design with more streamlined and sporty appearance due to the re-positioning of the indicators. A newly designed 18" alloy wheel has been used to enhance product appeal.
There has been a variety of interior style upgrades. The instrument panel trim has changed to an aluminium style. A combination of black and silver coatings have been used for the electronic parking brake switch panel and gear lever surround. The power window switches and door panel trim are now gloss black and silver. Steering wheel bezel has changed from silver to black.
Hill Start Assist has been replaced with Auto Vehicle hold. This uses Vehicle Dynamics Control and the Electronic Parking Brake to keep the Levorg stationary when the brake pedal is released. There is no limit to the vehicle hold time and the system with function on all roads with a gradient that the Electronic Parking Brake can operate on.
Adjustable power lumbar support has been added to the driver's seat. Rear seat and boot space usability has been enhanced with a greater number of seat configurations, The new 40/20/40 split folding rear seat layout improves convenience and is particularly suited to loading long items with two passengers seated in the rear.
The colour LCD Multi Function Display screen has been enlarged and a new design has been used for all display contents. New functions have been added and there is now an air conditioning status screen and a display for the new Front View Monitor.
A front view camera is positioned below the six star badge on the front grille and monitors a 180 area in front of the car that would normally be in the driver's blind spot. These images are displayed on the Multi Function Display screen to aid maneuvering at junctions with poor visibility or when parking against a wall.
Pull the lever on the mirror to display images from the camera mounted at the top of the rear windscreen. The mirror improved visibility to the rear and is most effective when passengers or luggage obstruct the rear view mirror or in conditions with fluctuating lights.
The icons on the touchscreen have been refreshed and the infotainment system has been upgraded to include Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Available in a variety of colours, to include Crustal White Pearl, Ice Silver Metallic, Dark Grey Metallic, Lapis Blue Pearl, Crystal Black Silica and Pure Red. Crystal White Pearl is free of charge.
